When I first moved here at the beginning of May I was afraid that the house was going to be behind schedule due to all of the rain the Houston area has been receiving (we've had flash floods for goodness sake). Luckily the rain did not hold up the house at all. I've been going by at least every other day if not every day. I'm sure the guys are tired of seeing me, but I'm so excited and I just can't help myself. Also, I think it's a gentle reminder that they never know when I'll come by.
As of right now the things that I can see that still need to be done are:
- finish the brick
- install the motor to the garage door
- change out the front door because we ordered a fiberglass door
- install mirrors in bathrooms
- carpet
- final paint job
- patch small holes
- appliances
- fence for the back yard
- sod the front yard
I'm sure there is something else I'm missing, but those are the big items I can think of.
Without further ado here is a photo dump of all the progress photos I've taken since I got here at the beginning of May.

(this was fairly late on a Saturday so it may look like the guys are taking a break, but they had been working super hard all day...I drove by twice)
We are very excited and I am even more excited to soon have my husband in the same state as me!
I'll be sure to post another update with more of the finishing touches!
